Development of innovative polyurethane systems for the production of pre-insulated steel pipes with polyethylene or zinc-plated steel outer casing (“pipe in pipe” processing method) is one of research and practical priorities of Dow Izolan.

Our team of experts has 30 years of experience in scientific research, which allows us to take a leading position in the pipe insulation market. Pipes with various IZOLAN® grades rigid PU foam insulation have been successfully used for underground laid housing heating networks pipelines and are widely used in the oil and gas pipelines construction. Polyurethane insulation IZOLAN® for steel pipes with polyethylene casing fully complies with the requirements of GOST 30732-2006 “Pipes and shaped steel articles with PU foam thermal insulation and outer casing of polyethylene”.

Only our systems for oil and gas pipelines insulation passed the certification and were registered with the Research Institute “Transneft”. The leading oil and gas enterprises have been successfully using our systems for many years for thermal insulation in pipelines construction.

    Two-component system for thermal pipelines insulation by “pipe in pipe” processing method. It is CFCs free. The system successfully passed EN 253 certification by the MPA-Hannover (Material Testing Institute for Materials and Manufacturing Engineering). The pipes are designed for heat and water supply networks construction.

  • IZOLAN®-355

    Two-component system for high-temperature pipelines insulation by “pipe in pipe” processing method. It is CFCs free. The system successfully passed EN 253 certification by the MPA-Hannover (Material Testing Institute for Materials and Manufacturing Engineering). The pipes are designed for heat and water supply networks construction.
